
Sean Dix, Architect & Designer
Born in Kansas City (USA). He lived in Fiji, Micronesia and the Philipines before moving to San Diego, California, Chigago and eventually to Europe in 1994
He has worked for Tom Dixon, James Irvine and Sottsass Association before opening his own studio in Milan in 2000
He studied at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Rietveld Academie (Amsterdam) and Domus Academy (Milan)
His clients include Moschino, Bluebell, Harrods, Bosco Di Ciliegi, Design Within Reach, Fiorucci, Byblos, Artsgroup, Pobeda Cinema Complex.
He has lectured and taught at numerous schools around the worldincluding IULM (Milan), Polytecnico (Milan), Domus Academy (Milan), Beckman's (Stockholm) and the SAIC (Chicago).
He has experience with and enthusiasm for working with different cultures and international clients, leading teams of designers, architects, contractors, fabricators and local architects to bring complex projects to fruition.
The Dix Collection represents the latest series of furniture showing influences from Asia as well as Mid Century Modernist designs from Scandanavia and USA
