Anat Givon – Photographer & digital photography artist
Anat, a native of Israel and long time photojournalist, her pictures frequently appearing in newspapers and magazines around the world as well as in the electronic media, has lived and worked in the Middle East, South East Asia and for the last 11 years, Hong Kong
After having recently spent a year in London, where she attended an advanced Photoshop course, Anat has taken her work in a new direction and started concentrating on digital photographic artwork.
Anats works digitally merge photography and graphics, creating images that, while relying on the photographic esthetics such as proportions within set frame, use of light and shadow, shapes and colours or monochromes, turn into rather more quirky and fun images of a captured scene, with an added, often unexpected dimension.
